Finally got the video done from the races back in October. Audio is a little rough while the car's idling, but it sounds better going down the track.
Didn't realize it at the time, but the clutch was hurt worse than I thought from the last run in Atlanta. First pass was just supposed to be a warm-up lap on the motor, but as soon as it tried to leave, I knew the clutch was gone. If you watch the tach, you can see were it comes up on the launch rev limiter at 4800. Then it just sort of hangs around 5-5500 after the launch while I'm holding part throttle waiting for the clutch to grab. There's a quick blip then it grabs and goes. After I'd watched it for the 50th time, I also saw that the clutch was slipping some between gear changes as well (RPM wasn't dropping as far as it should after the shift).
The rest of the night, was spent watching them clean-up oil downs and pulling broke cars off the track. 1st pass was around 6PM. Didn't get to run the 2nd time until around 10PM (just before closing). It was also about 30-degrees colder by that time. Knowing I couldn't launch it hard, I just figured I would walk it off the line, then let the nitrous kick in down track (sorta like I used to do all the time with the old transmission). Don't really know if the track was still slick, or I just didn't have it pointed straight, but it was slipping all over the place. About midway through 3rd gear, I gave up trying to wreck it and just cruised to the end. It didn't feel that bad in the car, but according to my boss (Brad) who was lined up behind me, it looked more exciting from the line.

You should get Brad to have the same camera setup in his car so we could see the excitment.
Seeing the background there makes me want to bring my Jeep and race - it has a "roll cage"
Hey Eric, nice video, just wish I understood it. It would be nice if once the car is stopped and you've taken off your helmet, just look in to the camera so we can see that beautiful face once in a while.
Love
